Our monthly meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday of each month (except for December). Meetings start at 10am and generally consist of show-and-tell, often followed by a talk on a ship modeling topic – materials, rigging, building techniques, planking, tools, history, sources, books, etc. There is open discussion; questions are answered, and problems are solved.
Members and guests are encouraged to bring in projects past and current, plans, modeling problems, bits-and-pieces and maritime-related items of interest for informal discussion, or inclusion in the club newsletter, the TBSMS “Ship’s Log”.
Meetings are held in St. Petersburg, in the lower level of the Trinity Lutheran Church at 411 5th Street N., St. Petersburg, FL 33701. Take I-275 and exit at I-375. Take I-375 east and take the second exit off I-375 which becomes 4th Avenue. Go to the traffic light and turn left. This is Fifth Street.
You are invited to attend meetings free. If you decide to join, dues of $12. are payable at the January meeting.
